Major Improvements to the V2 Assignment Builder

We’ve made major improvements to the V2 Assignment Builder in ExamGiant.

One of the biggest goals was reliability. Teachers should be able to configure an assignment, preview it, and trust that their settings stay the way they intended. We spent time improving preview behavior, restoring saved settings more consistently, and making sure game-specific options appear when they are supposed to.

We also improved speed-setting behavior and scoring configuration handling, which helps reduce confusion during setup. These changes matter because even small setup problems can slow teachers down and make a tool feel harder to use than it should.

The V2 builder is designed to give teachers more control over how practice is assigned, while still keeping the workflow manageable. As we continue building new games and activities, making the assignment setup experience smoother is a major priority.

This update may not look flashy from the outside, but it makes the platform more dependable where it counts: in everyday classroom use.

Right now, students can practice in two active modes: Sights and Sounds Sight Only I think memory is one of the most important foundations for learning. When students remember more of what the teacher says, more of what they read, and more of what they practice, school becomes easier. Homework can feel less overwhelming, class can make more sense, and students can build confidence faster. This is not just my opinion. New Civics and Government Games on ExamGiant

  I just created a new video showing the current civics and government games on ExamGiant. Right now, this part of ExamGiant includes two game types: Civics and Government Number - President Name The Civics and Government game also includes three difficulty levels: Citizen Representative President! I like this because it gives students different ways to grow in their knowledge. A student can start at a simpler level and then work up to more advanced questions over time. That makes the game useful for practice, review, and building confidence. Civics and government are important because students should understand how their country works. Learning about the Constitution, amendments, rights, government structure, and other civics topics can help students become more informed, more thoughtful, and better prepared for adult life.
