New Fraction Practice Games on ExamGiant

Image
Welcome back to ExamGiant. In this video, I introduce four new fraction practice options that I have added to the math section. These games are designed to help students build speed and confidence with fraction addition and subtraction.

Why Mixed Math Practice Matters

Welcome back to ExamGiant. In this video, I talk about the fifth math game I have added: the Four Basic Operators game. I consider this one of the most important math games I plan to build because it moves beyond practicing only one skill at a time and starts measuring how well students can handle mixed math quickly and accurately.

Why Speed Matters in Math Mastery

Welcome back to ExamGiant. In this video, I introduce the first four math items on the platform and explain part of the bigger idea behind how ExamGiant is being built. Right now, these first math items focus on basic integer practice: additions from 0 to 100 additions from 0 to 1000 subtractions from 0 to 100 subtractions from 0 to 1000 These are only the beginning. My long-term goal is to make the system much more flexible so that teachers can decide exactly where students should start and stop. For example, a teacher may eventually want to assign a range such as -400 to 1000, depending on the student’s level and the skill being practiced. One of the most important parts of ExamGiant is speed. In many classrooms, two students can both get a perfect score, but that does not always mean they have the same level of mastery. One student may finish very quickly because the material is automatic and deeply learned. Another student may need much more time to think through each answer....
