New World Map Geography Games on ExamGiant

Image
I just created a new video showing two new world map geography games on ExamGiant. These games help students practice identifying countries in two different ways. In one game, students see a country name and then have to find and select that country on the map. In the other game, a country is selected on the map and the student has to choose the correct country name. One feature I especially like is that students are not stuck looking at only one part of the world. If the map is showing one region, such as South America, they can move the map to another area, like Asia, and keep exploring. They can also zoom in and zoom out, which makes it easier to work with countries of different sizes and locations. That makes the game more realistic and more useful, because learning world geography is not just about memorizing names. It is also about becoming comfortable with where countries are located and how they fit into the larger map of the world. In my video, I walk through both of the...

New US Map Practice Games on ExamGiant

Image
I just created a new video showing the new US map practice games on ExamGiant. These games help students learn US states in an interactive way. Instead of only memorizing a list, students work directly with the shapes and names of the states. That makes the learning more visual, more active, and often more memorable. There are currently three map-based US state games: A mode where students see a picture of a US state and choose the correct name A mode where students see the name of a US state and choose the correct state on the map A flexible mode where students can choose whichever direction they want I think this is important because students should know the states, not just as words on a page, but as places on a map. That kind of geographic knowledge can help with school, travel, history, government, and general understanding of the country. In my video, I show how these games work and how students can practice identifying states in different ways. One thing I like about these...

New Geography Practice on ExamGiant: States and Capitals and Countries and Capitals

Image
I just created a new video showing the current geography practice games on ExamGiant. Right now, the geography section includes two games: States and Capitals Countries and Capitals These are simple topics, but they are still very useful. Knowing states and capitals is important because it helps students build a stronger understanding of the United States. It can help with schoolwork, maps, history, government, travel, and general knowledge. Even for adults, knowing the states and their capitals is one of those skills that continues to be useful over time. Countries and capitals may not come up in daily life as often for everyone, but they are still a great way to build world knowledge. They can help students understand geography better, connect places to world events, and become more familiar with the wider world. That kind of knowledge can be helpful in school and also just makes a person more informed. In my video, I walk through both of these geography games and show how they...
