New Reading Comprehension Games on ExamGiant: Harry Potter Practice Across All 7 Books

Image
I just added a new set of reading comprehension games to ExamGiant, they are based on the Harry Potter series. These new games give students a fun way to practice reading and comprehension skills using material connected to all seven Harry Potter books. In the current setup, there is one game that includes all seven books together, plus separate games for each individual book. That means students can practice with: Harry Potter All 7 Books Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Reading comprehension is one of the most important academic skills a student can build. It is not just about reading words on a page. It is about understanding ideas, following details, making connections, and thinking carefully about what was read. That is one reason I am exc...

Why English Still Matters: New Parts of Speech and Hypernyms Practice on ExamGiant

Image
I just finished another ExamGiant video, and this one shows two more English practice modes: Parts of Speech and Hypernyms. As I was making the video, I shared something personal. When I was in high school, I did not think English was very important. At the time, I thought I would probably become either a math teacher, a professor, or a computer programmer, so I focused much more on math and did not take English as seriously as I should have. Looking back, that was a mistake. English is useful for just about everyone. If you become a boss, you need to be able to write clearly to your employees. If you work for someone else, you need to be able to communicate well with your boss. No matter what path you take in life, strong English skills can help you explain your ideas, understand other people, and present yourself more professionally. That is one reason I think English practice matters so much. In this new video, I show two useful areas of study: Parts of Speech Hypernyms Parts ...

New English Practice Video: Synonyms and Antonyms on ExamGiant

Image
We’ve been working on a simpler English practice experience inside ExamGiant, and I just recorded a short video showing the current version in action. Right now, this English practice version focuses on two core vocabulary skills: Synonyms Antonyms These are two of the most important building blocks for stronger reading, writing, and overall language development. They help students expand vocabulary, improve comprehension, and get more comfortable recognizing meaning and word relationships quickly. In the video, you’ll see how students can jump into practice and focus on these essential English skills in a clean, straightforward format. This temporary version is especially helpful for demonstrating the platform step by step as we continue adding more practice options over time. If you’d like to see the video, check it out below. Why start with synonyms and antonyms? Because they are simple to understand, highly useful, and valuable for students across many grade levels. Whether a...

New Inverse Trig Bubble Games in Degrees, Radians, and Mixed Mode

Image
ExamGiant now includes new bubble games for all inverse trig functions in degrees, radians, and mixed mode. These games help students practice inverse sine, inverse cosine, inverse tangent, inverse cosecant, inverse secant, and inverse cotangent while strengthening their understanding of special angles and the correct angle ranges for inverse trig. The mixed mode is especially helpful because students often learn degrees first and radians later, and it is easy to become less confident with one form if they only practice the other. By working in both degrees and radians, students can build a stronger understanding and be ready no matter how the material appears on a quiz or test. Watch the video below to see the new games in action. These games are designed to help students move more confidently between degree answers and radian answers, so they can recognize inverse trig values quickly in either form.
