New World Map Geography Games on ExamGiant
I just created a new video showing two new world map geography games on ExamGiant.
These games help students practice identifying countries in two different ways. In one game, students see a country name and then have to find and select that country on the map. In the other game, a country is selected on the map and the student has to choose the correct country name.
One feature I especially like is that students are not stuck looking at only one part of the world. If the map is showing one region, such as South America, they can move the map to another area, like Asia, and keep exploring. They can also zoom in and zoom out, which makes it easier to work with countries of different sizes and locations.
That makes the game more realistic and more useful, because learning world geography is not just about memorizing names. It is also about becoming comfortable with where countries are located and how they fit into the larger map of the world.
In my video, I walk through both of these world map games and show how students can move around the map, zoom in and out, and practice identifying countries in both directions.
I think this kind of geography practice is valuable because it helps students build world knowledge in a hands-on way. The more familiar students are with countries and regions, the easier it is to understand history, current events, travel, and global topics in general.
My goal with ExamGiant is to keep building tools that make learning more interactive and more practical. These world map games are another step in that direction, and I think they can be very helpful for students who want stronger geography skills.
More ExamGiant videos and more learning games are on the way.
