New US Map Practice Games on ExamGiant

I just created a new video showing the new US map practice games on ExamGiant.

These games help students learn US states in an interactive way. Instead of only memorizing a list, students work directly with the shapes and names of the states. That makes the learning more visual, more active, and often more memorable.

There are currently three map-based US state games:

  • A mode where students see a picture of a US state and choose the correct name
  • A mode where students see the name of a US state and choose the correct state on the map
  • A flexible mode where students can choose whichever direction they want

I think this is important because students should know the states, not just as words on a page, but as places on a map. That kind of geographic knowledge can help with school, travel, history, government, and general understanding of the country.

In my video, I show how these games work and how students can practice identifying states in different ways.

One thing I like about these games is that they allow students to build familiarity from more than one angle. Some students learn better when they recognize a shape first. Others do better when they start with the name. Giving both options can make the practice more useful and more accessible.

As ExamGiant continues to grow, I want to keep building practice tools that are educational, practical, and engaging. These map games are a great step in that direction, and I think they can be very helpful for students who need stronger geography skills.

More ExamGiant videos and more learning games are on the way.
