New Spelling and Hangman Games on ExamGiant

I just created a new video showing two more English practice games on ExamGiant: Spelling and Hangman.

These games are designed to help students build vocabulary, improve spelling, and stay engaged while practicing important language skills.

The Spelling game includes words from Grade 1 all the way through Grade 10. It also includes National Spelling Bee words, and hundreds of thousands of additional words that are not yet assigned to a grade level. One feature I am especially excited about is that students and parents can help improve the system over time. If a word seems like it belongs in a different grade, they can click and tell me what grade level it should be in.

Another helpful feature is pronunciation support. If the computer voice does not sound right for a word, students or parents can click and let me know, and I can replace it with a human voice. That means the game is not just a fixed system. It can keep getting better with feedback.

At the end of each spelling word, students also have the option to see the definition. If the word exists on Dictionary.com, I provide a direct link there. If it does not, I provide a Google search link for the word so students can quickly look it up and learn what it means. I think this is especially useful because spelling should not just be about memorizing letters. It should also help students understand the words they are learning.

The Hangman game adds another fun way to practice. Students can choose whichever grade levels they want, and the game will pull words from those levels. It also has a Robin Hood themed background, featuring characters from the Robin Hood story along with the villains. That gives the game a more playful and memorable style while students practice spelling and word recognition.

In my video, I walk through both games and show how they work.

My goal with ExamGiant is to make learning both useful and enjoyable. Spelling is an important skill by itself, but it also supports reading, writing, vocabulary growth, and confidence in school. By combining structured grade-level words, advanced word lists, user feedback, pronunciation improvements, and quick access to definitions, these games can become a very practical tool for students and families.
